When a tool is white labeled it simply means that the dashboard, reporting, or other output of the tool are “unbranded”, allowing agencies to place their or their clients’ branding on the tool or its output. By investing in white label SEO tools, your agency can focus its expertise while providing extra value to clients at the same time.

Regardless of your vertical or purview, your clients need SEO-related services.

And the end result is all that matters. The clients want fast and accurate, they don’t care whether you used ahrefs or Moz.

With the tools of today, you can find issues within your clients’ websites, generate a list of tasks in a report for them to approve, then go about fixing crawl errors, adding structured data, and filling content holes using tools that are completely run by your agency without the client needing to know what or how it was done.

Our team sought-out an ideal stack of tools for agencies wanting to offer amazing SEO and content creation services, but do so in a white label process.

But first, if you would like to hear Andy from HikeSEO and Drake from Huckabuy discuss what SEO services agencies can and should offer their clients, watch this AMA:

HIKESEO.CO

What is Hike:

Hike helps agencies to sell and deliver SEO to their clients, thereby creating a new recurring revenue stream for the agency. Hike’s CEO recently told PartnerPrograms.io that “being able to edit client user permissions was a big request from our agency users. Many agencies wanted to share the platform with their clients to help with reporting, but didn’t necessarily want the client to ‘see’ every feature of the platform.”

With Hike’s white label offering, agencies can add custom branding to the platform and reporting sent to clients and manage user accounts and permissions for clients. Hike’s new white label lead-generation tool also makes it easy for a prospect to immediately see their SEO needs work, for agencies to easily follow up with leads, and ‘feed’ those leads into thousands of integrations via Zapier.

Their partner offer:

Hike offers an attractive commission/revenue share structure for any partner who can refer customers to Hike.

VERBLIO.COM

What is Verblio:

Verblio is an on-demand content creation tool to power digital marketing and SEO. Their white label offering allows agencies to send their clients to a subdomain of their site where the client can review the content from Verblio and provide their feedback. The page only shows your agency’s branding and your agency still retains control over purchasing the content. Content can be shared with clients without a login and can be password protected if desired.

Natalie Robinson, Head of Partnerships at Verblio tell us they are “currently working on a 2.0 version of their white label offering with more advanced editing and sharing capabilities, to better serve agencies.”

Their partner offer:

There are two ways to work with Verblio as an agency:

  1. Sign up for Verblio and manage your client’s content directly on the platform. With our white label feature, you can share the content with your clients with your own branding – and up-charge the content at your discretion. We provide 35% off the first month of content for any agency that signs up through Partner Programs.
  2. Become a referral partner. Instead of managing your clients content, you refer them to us and they manage their content directly on the platform. For each referred client that signs up, the agency referral partner receives a $200 bonus. The referred client receives 35% off (up to $500) their first month of content with Verblio. Once the referred client hits $2,000 in revenue, the agency referral partner receives a 10% revenue share for up to two years.

We asked Andy Allen, CEO of Hike to let us know what about Hike is white label friendly:

Does your tool have any features that work under the premise of ‘white label’?
If so, what aspects of your tool are “friendly” or relevant for agencies who prefer their clients not have to go create new accounts in order for the agency to do it’s analysis work?

“The whole of the Hike platform is white label ready. So any agency can rebrand the whole platform which includes:

– removing all Hike branding and adding their own to the platform.

– ability to send white label reports to clients.

– creating user accounts for their clients to login.

– deciding what level of permissions each user has, including the ability to hide specific parts of the platform own a user-level if they wish.

– installing an SEO lead-gen tool on their website to gain SEO leads from website traffic.

– it connects with GMB and GA so client doesn’t have to install anything on their site.”

Andy Allen, CEO of Hike

When did your product team choose to create those features?

“Once the demand was high enough. We had a lot of agencies using Hike to deliver SEO to their clients, but they didn’t want to share the platform with their clients for reporting (as the risk was their client might sign up directly to Hike). Once the demand was constant from our agency users we decided to add white label functionality to Hike and it’s been a big success for us. We’ve rolled out extra features since, four example the white label SEO lead-gen tool that agencies can no add to their website which generates an SEO report for the website visitor and collects their data (and sends via Zapier) so the agency can follow up.”Andy, CEO of Hike

And why did they choose to create those features?

Being able to edit client user permissions was a big request from our agency users. Many agencies wanted to share the platform with their clients to help with reporting, but didn’t necessarily want the client to ‘see’ every feature of the platform. That’s why we have in-depth user permission functionality to tailor the experience the client has when they login.

The white label lead-gen tool was also really important as agencies need an effective way of generating SEO leads and displaying an SEO report to them. This makes it easy for the prospect to immediately see their SEO needs work, and the tool enables the agency to easily follow up with that lead via their contact details and the ability to ‘feed’ the leads into thousands of apps via Zapier.

We asked the head of Partnerships at Verblio, Natalie Robinson, to fill us in on the white label features of their ghostwriting platform:

Does your tool have any features that work under the premise of ‘white label’?
If so, what aspects of your tool are “friendly” or relevant for agencies who prefer their clients not have to go create new accounts in order for the agency to do it’s analysis work?

“We offer a white label feature. Agencies can send their clients to a subdomain of their site where the client can review the content from Verblio and provide their feedback. The page only shows the agency’s branding (colors and logo), no mention of Verblio anywhere – and the agency still retains control over purchasing the content. Content can be shared with clients without a login, and password protected if desired.”Natalie, Head of Partnerships at Verblio

When did your product team choose to create those features?

“July 2015. We are currently working on a 2.0 version of the white label system with more advanced editing and sharing capabilities. It is currently in beta – we are looking forward to opening it up to clients as soon as it has completed testing!”Natalie, Verblio

And why did they choose to create those features?

To better serve our agency clients.

We asked Senior AE at Huckabuy, Drake Doherty, to fill us in on the aspects of their SEO platform which allow for white label use.

Does your tool have any features that work under the premise of ‘white label’?
If so, what aspects of your tool are “friendly” or relevant for agencies who prefer their clients not have to go create new accounts in order for the agency to do it’s analysis work?

“Today our white-labeled platform is limited and in development. The main aspect today that is friendly for agencies is ensuring that technical Google initiatives like dynamic rendering and structured data are automated/optimized to ensure the Google bot is having the best experience possible. Huckabuy has “plug and play” software that fully automate both dynamic rendering for google bots and structured data, agencies no longer will have to manually enter structured data across a customers site, Huckabuy can automate this for them to allow for other focus across the site. Over the second half of 2020 we will be working to give agencies the ability to white-label reports generated from the Huckabuy dashboard with the agency logo and their customer’s logo.” Drake, SAE at Huckabuy

When did your product team choose to create those features?

“In 2020 Huckabuy is starting to focus on agencies as partners, traditionally we have been a direct sales organization which we will continue but having an agency partner channel is something we are striving to build this year.” Drake, SAE at Huckabuy

And why did they choose to create those features?

“As we build agency white-label features, they will have an agency focus so that our partners have the ability to automate technical changes to their customers’ websites.”Drake, SAE at Huckabuy
